About EquityCalc Hub

EquityCalc Hub helps employees understand what their share schemes are worth. We publish free calculators and plain-English guides covering the UK Share Incentive Plan (SIP), EMI options, CSOP, SAYE, RSUs, ESOPs and US-style ESPPs.

Why we built it

Equity is often a large part of total pay, but the paperwork is dense and the tax rules are easy to get wrong. Many people only learn what their options were worth after they have exercised them. We wanted a place where you can test the numbers first, see the rates and assumptions behind them, and follow links to the official source.

How we keep it accurate

Every calculator states the tax year and rates it uses. We check figures against GOV.UK and HMRC manuals, review them each tax year and after every Budget, and list sources on our methodology page. If you find an error, tell us and we will correct it.

Privacy by design

The calculators run in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to our servers or saved.

What we are not
